We keep this simple, because what we collect is simple.
Who we are
Oracy Education Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15650689), with its registered office at 2 Whittle Court, Knowlhill, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, MK5 8FT. We provide communication training to customers in India. For data protection purposes, we are the “data controller” (UK) and “data fiduciary” (India) for the information described below.
What we collect
Only what you give us when you ask about our services:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if you provide it)
- Anything you write in your message
That’s it. No accounts, no payment details, no tracking of your browsing across other sites.
Why we collect it
One reason: to respond to your enquiry about our services, and to follow up on it. We may also keep in touch about the services you asked about, unless you tell us to stop.
Our legal basis is your consent — you choose to send us your details — and our legitimate interest in replying to you (UK GDPR). Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we process your details on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, for the specific purpose stated there.
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never share it with third parties for their marketing.
- We never use it for anything unrelated to your enquiry.
Where your data goes
Your details are received and stored securely by us and by our service providers, who process it only on our instructions. The UK has a comprehensive data protection law (the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018), and we protect your information to that standard wherever it is processed.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them unless you become a customer, in which case we keep what we need for the contract and as required by law. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Your rights
You are in control. You can ask us to:
- Access — tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct — fix anything that’s wrong or incomplete
- Delete — erase your details
- Withdraw consent — stop processing at any time, as easily as you gave it
- Nominate — appoint someone to exercise your rights for you (a right under India’s DPDP Act)
To exercise any of these, just email us. We’ll respond within the timelines required by law, and we won’t charge you.

Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we use your details, we’ll ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
