Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the India programmes delivered?
Our school-age and university programmes in India are delivered at our established partner centre in Hisar, Haryana — an experienced education centre with over 20 years of history in the region. Sessions are centre-based, not delivered inside schools.
What age groups do you accept?
We currently offer two pathways: a school-age programme for learners aged 11 to 18, and a university programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Please enquire if you are unsure which pathway is right for you.
How are sessions delivered, online or in person?
Sessions use a hybrid model. A UK-trained Oracy teacher joins each session remotely, while an India-based moderator is present in the room with learners. This combines the expertise of our UK team with local classroom support.
Can my school enrol a group of students?
Yes. We work with schools and institutions in Haryana to arrange group enrolments, teacher masterclasses, and student demonstration sessions. Please contact us to discuss options for your school or organisation.
Is this an English-language course or IELTS preparation?
Oracy programmes focus on speaking, listening, confidence and practical communication. They are not IELTS preparation courses.
What are the class schedules?
School-age sessions take place after school hours, generally between 4pm and 7pm, with some Saturday and Sunday availability. University sessions are scheduled to accommodate academic timetables. Please contact us for current availability.
How many learners are in each group?
School-age groups are kept small — approximately 12 to 14 learners per group — to ensure every student receives meaningful participation time and personalised attention during each session.
